A very primitive slide top box with wonderful hand-scribed decoration on the slide top. It is rough and beautiful with a little square cut nail holding the slide onto the box. Looks like whoever made this wonderful box forgot to carve a stop at its bottom. The top is smooth to the top with its natural beautiful patina. It is 4.5" x 5" x 10" tall when standing on its end.
